Exciting Adventures Ahead: Our 2026 Club Event Line-UpDate:
The second half of 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most exciting periods for the club, with an incredible mix of camping weekends, driver training, social gatherings, fundraising events, and off-road adventures planned for members of all experience levels. Whether you’re keen to sharpen your 4WD skills, tackle new tracks, enjoy a relaxing camping weekend, or simply catch up with fellow members around a campfire, there’s something for everyone on this year’s calendar. Kicking Off with Hinchcliffs Camping WeekendOur adventures begin in May with the Hinchcliffs Camping, Maintenance and Vehicle Skills Weekend. This trip combines camping with practical hands-on learning, giving members the chance to improve vehicle maintenance knowledge and essential recovery and touring skills in a relaxed outdoor setting. Driver Training and Club Working BeeJune starts with the Driver Awareness Program (DAP) — a fantastic opportunity for both new and experienced drivers to improve their off-road techniques, safety awareness, and vehicle handling skills. At the same time, members will also come together for a Working Bee at Scenic Rim Adventure Park, helping maintain and improve one of our favourite locations while enjoying a productive and social day outdoors. Kenilworth Drive and Camp AdventureThe Kenilworth Drive and Camp promises a great mix of scenic touring, campfire conversations, and off-road fun. Trips like these are perfect for members wanting a relaxed weekend away while exploring some beautiful Queensland countryside. Exploring Woodford and Glass House MountainsJuly brings the Woodford/Glass House Mountains 4WD Weekend, offering spectacular scenery, challenging tracks, and the chance to experience one of South-East Queensland’s most iconic off-road regions. Later in the month, members can enjoy a thrilling day trip to Swan Gully 4x4 Park, known for its varied terrain and exciting tracks suitable for a range of skill levels. Scenic Day Out at O’Reilly’s and Canungra Valley VineyardsNot every club event involves mud and low-range gearing. August includes a relaxing social outing to O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards, combining stunning scenery, good food, and great company for a memorable day in the Scenic Rim. Tiny Away Escape at Granite BeltFor those wanting a peaceful getaway, the Tiny Away Escape @ Granite Belt offers a unique opportunity to unwind, enjoy nature, and experience the beautiful Granite Belt region with fellow club members. Fundraising and Community SpiritSeptember includes our Fundraiser BBQ at Southport Bunnings, an important event that helps support club activities and future adventures. These fundraising days are always a great opportunity for members to work together while engaging with the wider community. Janowen 4WD WeekendAdventure returns with the Janowen 4WD Weekend, featuring challenging tracks, camping, and plenty of opportunities to put both vehicles and driver skills to the test in a supportive group environment. Barefoot Bowls and Dinner Social EventThe club calendar also makes time for social connection away from the tracks. The Barefoot Bowls and Dinner evening will be a fun and relaxed opportunity for members and families to catch up, share stories, and enjoy a great night together. Corroboree 2026One of the biggest highlights of the year will undoubtedly be Corroboree 2026. This flagship event brings together off-road enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience packed with adventure, camaraderie, displays, activities, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow four-wheel drivers from across the region. Bribie Island Camping WeekendOctober’s Bribie Island Camping Weekend offers beach driving, coastal scenery, and laid-back camping vibes. These trips are always popular and provide the perfect combination of touring and relaxation. The Springs 4X4 Park ChallengeAs the year winds down, members can tackle the tracks at The Springs 4X4 Park, a fantastic destination offering everything from beginner-friendly terrain to more advanced challenges for experienced drivers. Finishing the Year with the Christmas Party WeekendTo cap off an incredible year, the club will celebrate with the Christmas Party Weekend in November. This much-anticipated event is the perfect chance to reflect on the year’s adventures, celebrate friendships made on the tracks, and look forward to another exciting year ahead.
